Everything a flight school runs on
Student dashboard
Hours toward the private pilot minimums, last flight, flights this month and unsigned dual for every student. The ones who need you are at the top.
Endorsement library
Standard endorsements based on AC 61-65, filled in with the student's name and your certificate. Sign in one tap and track every 90-day solo expiration.
Checkride packet
One click builds the 8710 hour totals, the 61.109 checklist, signed endorsements and items to review, ready to print for the examiner.
Aircraft and maintenance
Hobbs and tach straight from your students' logged flights, with 100-hour, annual, oil, ELT, transponder and pitot-static due dates.
Squawks and groundings
Anyone can report an aircraft problem from their phone. A grounding squawk blocks bookings until maintenance marks it fixed or deferred.
Scheduling with safety checks
No double-booking. Solos need a current solo endorsement, bookings are checked against your weather limits, and the 61.195 eight-hour rule is enforced.
Student billing
Bill flights straight from the logbook at your aircraft and instruction rates. Students pay by card and the money goes to your school's own Stripe account.
FAA registry checks
Add an aircraft and the make, model, year and registration expiration come from the FAA registry. Check student and instructor certificates the same way.

Questions
Do my students need to pay for anything?
No. Students join your school free with your invite link and log their flights in Hobbslogbook. Their hours, endorsements and progress show up in FlightOps automatically, and they keep their logbook after they finish training.
How do student hours get into FlightOps?
From each student's own Hobbslogbook logbook. There's no double entry: when a student logs a flight, your dashboard, the 61.109 progress, aircraft Hobbs and tach, and billing drafts all update.
Are the endorsements legitimate?
Endorsements follow the wording in AC 61-65 and carry your name, certificate number and expiration. Your CFI certificate is verified against the FAA airmen registry before you can sign, and every endorsement keeps a timestamped record.
How does student billing work?
On School Plus, you connect your school's Stripe account. Charges are priced from your aircraft and instruction rates, students pay by card, and the money goes directly to your Stripe account. Stripe's card fees come out of each payment.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Every plan starts with a free 30-day trial and no card is needed. You can change plans during the trial, and your records are kept if you decide not to continue.
Is FlightOps a replacement for my maintenance records?
No. FlightOps tracks due dates and squawks so nothing slips, but the aircraft's official maintenance records and logbooks are still kept by your mechanic as 14 CFR 91.417 requires.
Give your students one less thing to track, and yourself a lot less.
Set up your school
Free for 30 days. You can change the plan any time during the trial.
